FFHT - October: Suri O' Lantern

I know I've been MIA alot this month, but in no way I'm gonna skip my favorite FFHT post. So I sneaked in when my Mum took her potty break (that's Kismet's brilliant idea). And this is my F.F.H.T. story for this month:

Halloween is nearing so Mum and I decided that it’d be fun to create a jack-o’-lantern with our favorite theme: ME. After all, how hard can it be?

So we began...

A couple of hours later, the pumpkin looks like it’s been attacked by a mad surgeon. Mum was trying to convince me that we've done a great job but look here:

Suri O' Lantern? Are you kidding me? This is not even me. Look nothing like me. Not to mention the smelly smell of pumpkin flesh. Oh, I hate carving pumpkin!

After that I never turned my back on another pumpkin

ever again.

Lazy Week

I've been really lazy lately. This because Mum been using the laptop a lots!!! I barely have the chance to update my blog or visiting other pet's blog. This isn't fair because Mum said that her projects were almost done a while back but turned out she got another project. She said that's a good thing, but I didn't see any good for me by lazing around, napping all day, and not being able to check what's going on on the internet these days. I can only update my Instagram everyday instead. And since today is Sunday, Mum lets me use her laptop and here I am writing a post about how unproductive my week was.

Me waking up super late.

Me lazing around in bed.

Me yawning.

Sigh, I hope Mum's work is done in few days cause you know what?? She promised me to have a nice Halloween pawty by the end of this month!

Till then!

DIY Halloween Witch Costume for Dog/Cat

Hi there y'all!!!
How's your Halloween preparation going? My costume is FINALLY complete now and I'm super excited to share it with you.

My costume consists of a fluffy tutu skirt, a witch hat with braided hair, and a cute witch broom.

I'm the wicked little girl!

My cousins Coco and Lammy was staying in my house last weekend and saw my Mum made the witch hat.

Notice how someone in the background was just so jealous of my new cool witch hair! He he.

If you wanna know the whole process of how my Mum made it, please watch this video:

Anyway, what do you think about my Halloween costume? Mum said witch suits me best because I sometimes do wicked things that witches do, whatever that means.

P.S. I heard Mum is preparing something for Halloween decorations. I think I will post another DIY Halloween project in the near future.

Selfie Sunday: How We Take Selfies

Do you know that I really love taking selfie?
I'm blocking Mum's face because I'm way too cute to take picture with her.

Today I'm going to show you how I managed to be so good at taking selfie. It's not really that hard for me to pose cute and adorable in front of camera. Proofs:

Okay, it may take a liiiittle effort to get me ready to pose nicely but the results never disappoint us. Mum is complaining why did I block her all the time, so I let her have this one nice photo showing her face.
I look a bit crazy but still cute.

Do you like taking selfie?

DIY Dog Toys Box / Storage

Guess what, I got a toy box!!!

This is me and Lammy posing in front of my brand new toy box. She's gotta have one for herself!

This is actually a recycling DIY project. Mum turned an old small bookshelf into a dog toys storage for me. But it turned out pretty great and I ruff it. Check this out:

First, she painted the bookshelf white in two coats. This is the first coat.

And then she drew a dog paw shape on the divider of the bookshelf.

Then she painted the inside of the bookshelf with stripe pattern, helped by masking tape.

When the masking tape is pulled off, it looks nice and clean.

And then using double sided foam tape, she attached the divider onto the main body of the bookshelf.

And so it looks like this. Already filled with all my toys.

The photo is not complete without a cutie or two.

She also documented all the steps on a video, watch this:

I snoopervised her a lot during the making. Lammy was there too. You can see our butts slipped here and there in the video. He he.

With this being made, that means another wish list checked today. Yahoo!

Batik Day

Hi furriends,
Today (October 2nd) is National Batik Day in Indonesia.

So what is Batik, you ask?

"Batik is a traditional Indonesian fabric that has roots in Indonesian historical artwork. Batik is conventionally made by drawing patterns with a tool called canting. The pattern itself is influenced by a variety of cultures. Actually, a tradition of making batik is found in various countries, but the batik of Indonesia is acknowledged to be the most well-known,"

said wikipedia. He he. You didn't expect me to know that that well, right?

Anyway, national Batik Day is a day of fashion in Indonesia. We dress head-to-toe in Batik for celebration of this culture.

I am proud to be Indonesian and so is Mum! So she made me sumthin to wear today, and that is...

This batik bow tie!

Check me out :)

Flashy box pointing at me so I have to do some poses. What do you think? I think I look kinda cool. I can pose like that without having Mum bribing for that.

Ok busted.

But I DID try ma best to pose as closely as possible like what real fashion models do in Mum's magazine. They always look so serious and never smile in photos.

Pee.S. Mum been using the laptop a lot so I can't create a blog post daily again lately. But Mum said her hectic freelance project will be done soon so that is saying something.

Woofs to ya later!
